About MACA

Maca was born with a fetish for footwear: by age 2 she owned 42 pairs of leather shoes. After years of fighting the inevitable – inches away from a career in Veterinary Sciences – she re-directed back to fashion. She was born with an obsession and has spent the last 14 years developing the acumen.  

Maca graduated with the highest academic distinction from one of the best fashion schools in South America. Along the way she worked side-by-side with some of the top Chilean designers in her hometown Santiago, showed her designs in Paris, worked at Calvin Klein and Fashion Week in New York, and studied at FIT. After moving to the US, much of her professional time has been dedicated to perfecting her understanding of fitting and providing a personal shopping experience to her loyal clients.

Philosophy

My philosophy for fashion is simple – looking great is easy when you know what works for you. Once you have that piece you can refine your wardrobe to support the outfits that will define you in so many ways. With my roots deep in the design and fit of clothing, I have a unique perspective on personal style to bring something out that the mirror isn’t letting you see. I want to help people to feel better - more confident, more attractive, more creative - more like your best self.  I assure you, it’s closer than you think.
